Julie Stark
is the current CERA Board President. She previously
served as CERA's Vice Chair for two years, and has been
involved with CERA since its inception. Ms. Stark was
the Assistant Curator at Community Memorial Museum from
1986 to 1996 and has served as Director since 1996.

Jim DeMersman
currently serves as CERA Treasurer, as well as serving
as President of the Board of the California Association
of Museums. He serves as a peer reviewer for Institute
of Museum and Library Service grants program and as
a visiting consultant for the American Association of
Museums' Museum Assessment Program, where he has conducted
over a dozen assessments throughout the country.

Evangeline
Tai currently serves as CERA Secretary as well as on
the Partnership Committee. She is on the Board of Directors
of the Western Museums Association and has Co-chaired
its 2003 jointed Annual Meeting Program Committee with
the British Columbia Museums Association. She also served
on WMA's Annual Meeting Program Committee in 2001, 2002,
and 2004. Ms. Tai is a Field Reviewer in the grant program
for the Institute of Museum and Library Services where
she has served since 2002.

Michael Bennett
has been a long time member of CERA and is the President
and CEO of the California State Mining & Mineral
Museum Fund. Previously he was the Executive Director
of the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum
for more than 20 years. He has particiated in numerous
special projects, including the Irvine Foundation's
Museum Youth Initiative and the CERA sponsored Smithsonian
Museum on Main Street program. Mr. Bennett is currently
serving as the chair of the CERA Management Committee.
Jacqueline

Jacqueline
L. Clay has her BA in History from the University of
California, Davis, and her Master's Degree in History,
with a specialization in Historic Resources Management,
from the University of California, Riverside. She was
the Director of the Community Memorial Museum of Sutter
California for ten years and was an original member
of CERA and a CERA co-director for 8 years. Ms. Clay
served as the Curator of History for the Nevada Historical
Society for 5 years. She is currently an independent
consultant focusing on the integration of arts and culture
in community life.

Marshall Duell
has served as CERA Chair from 1999 to 2001 and chairs
the CERA Partnership Committee. As curator of the Old
Courthouse Museum, he has seen the beneficial effects
of CERA on the institution he runs in Santa Ana, California.
Thanks in part to CERA's role of providing high caliber
museum exhibitions, the Old Courthouse has been transformed
from a high profile historic preservation project to
a resource that serves surrounding communities in several
capacities.

Marvin Schenck
is curator at the Grace Hudson Museum and Sun House.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the California
College of Arts and Crafts and a Master of Fine Arts
degree from Mills College. With over thirty years of
curatorial and exhibition design experience in both
historical and contemporary fine art, Mr. Schenck has
worked at such facilities as the Walnut Creek Civic
Arts Gallery, Kala Institute, Scottsdale Center for
the Arts, Hearst Art Gallery at Saint Mary's College,
and the Mendocino Art Center. He has written numerous
exhibition catalogs and has had articles published in
Art of California, Metalsmith, and Journal
of the Print World . Additionally, he has taught
art and art history at the college level and continues
to exhibit his own paintings.

Adrienne
McGraw , Executive Director

Adrienne
McGraw has been involved with CERA since 1999 as staff
at hosting venues and author of the educational materials
for the CERA exhibits "Awakening from the California
Dream: An Environmental History" and "Salt
Dreams: Reflections from the Downstream West."
In 2007, she independently curated CERA's "Bear
In Mind: The Story of the California Grizzly" and
became CERA's Executive Director in 2008.
Ms.
McGraw received her MA in Museum Studies with an emphasis
in public programming from John F. Kennedy University
in 2001, and was awarded the Gail Anderson Award for
Social Responsibility. Adrienne is a founding member
of the California Association of Museums' Green Museums
Initiative Committee.
Joan Jasper,

Joan Jasper
has worked for CERA since 1998 managing a number of
CERA exhibitions, as well as coordinating shipping,
assisting with marketing, and many other activities.
She coordinates CERA's arts-related exhibition development
and programming. Ms. Jasper has an MA in Art History
from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and
many years' experience in museum marketing, public program
planning, and corporate advertising agencies.
Lexie
Smith Kliebe, Project Manager

Lexie
Smith Kliebe began as an intern with CERA in 2005 and
joined the CERA staff in May 2006. As Project Manager,
she coordinates CERA's marketing and the "Sing
Me Your Story" Community Connections Project, as
well as assists with exhibit development and implementation.
Ms. Smith Kliebe earned her BS in Fine Arts from the
University of Oregon and her MA in Museum Studies from
John F. Kennedy University. Previous to her time at
CERA, she worked in the non-profit field since 1999
and is a graduate of the Granstmanship Center.
